MY FIRST DAY IN 8th STD

It was the day in which the school reopened after a long summer vacation...she was a girl who is entering her 8th std and was so excited that she is gonna meet all her friends after 2 months....she went so early to school with her new bag, new water bottle and all her new school kits with a huge smile on her face..... she wasnt knowing that an unexpected disappointment is waiting for her at school.... it was revealed by her class teacher when she entered the class and it was “shuffling”.... she was told that the new principal had announced that they are going to shuffle the students among the four sections..A, B, C and D....which were considered to be four different gangs until that....she was in ”D” section from her first std in this school with the same set of friends and nw she was said that she has been put in “A”.... thunder and lightening struck her head...she was the only one from her class who was shifted to “A” which is always known as the class of intelligent students and called by them(D) as the students full of attitude...(over scenes in their language)... all other friends of her were clubbed with B and C sections...
she felt so lonely and her eyes were filled with tears...she begged the teacher to change her to C section where all her best friends were...bt the teacher refused and made her sit in the first row first corner.. her favourite place where she was never allowed to sit in her old class as she was tall....that smewhat consoled her bt she was still unhappy... none of her new classmates talked to her as they were all brahmins and north indians while she was a non-brahmin south indian...they thought that talking to her will affect their image... but they talked to her for the first time to ask her to shift to the end so that they can take her favourite place which was their favourite too...she is a very kindhearted and helpful girl since her childhood... she left the place and went to the other corner thinking that atleast after that they will befriend her... but they didnt even mind that such a girl exists in their class...while she was like this her other friends were very happy with their new class and they too had forgot her.... she cried a lot and at a certain point even the tears had left her... she tried to escape from this kind of situation and diverted all her concentration towards her academics as she wanted to prove everyone that she too is capable and as intelligent as they are...she was an average student nly till her seventh std always playing with friends.... but in her new class almost everyone scores full marks and might lose a maximum of 2 marks only.... she took that as a challenge and studied very seriously.... her midterm exams came... she wrote well according to her.... in CBSE board how much ever we write we can never guess our marks exactly.. it depends on what the teacher expects from us....
finally the day came for which she was waiting.... their phy and chem teacher, kala mam entered the classroom with the marksheets... the rate of her heartbeat increased steadily and reached the saturation point as the teacher started distributing the papers.... it was just almost a few papers left..... she felt as if she got a mini-heart attack... all papers on the desk were gone and she had not got her paper yet... she almost died only thinking that her paper may be lost because of this shuffling and strtd crying as she is very sensitive... she felt so bad to ask the teacher abt it... despite all these she stood up and told the teacher that her paper is missing... mam told her that she will check and let her know afterwards... she became very nervous and she felt so cold and was sweating a lot... meanwhile the teacher started scolding the class that no one had secured full marks in all three sections that too in a very important subject like science..... she was half-deaf to teacher's words and was totally sunk in the ocean of sadness..... then the teacher started again and told that out of all three sections only one girl had secured full marks and added that the presentation was so neat that if possible she would haven given more than 100%.... the poor girl didnt even mind as she was very much depressed... when mam said that the girl is from A section she turned towards mam to know who it is as she wanted to congratulate that girl who is so unique and talented to be the only one in all 3 sections to get full marks... mam asked her to come out and asked the whole class to clap and cheer up the girl... she felt like she could fly.... she had no words to explain her happiness......tears of happiness rolled off her cheeks.. mam took her paper out from her handbag and gave it to her and asked everyone to go through her paper.... when she returned back to her place all her new classmates who were not even ready to talk to her, congratulated her and asked her for the paper.... she felt so proud and was at the peak of happiness as she had proved herself in front of everyone who ignored her before :) :) :)
